Imagine a workforce where the talents and energy of over-50s are recognised, not ignored. Where they can continue to use their skills to the benefit of society. Where professional experience does not have an expiry date. We believe this can be a reality and we will fight to create it.
We help talented people continue their careers into not-for-profit jobs
Fairness. We believe in treating people equally and approach situations with an unbiased mindset. We want people with transferable skills to be acknowledged and given a fair chance to demonstrate their ability.
Optimism. Age discrimination in the job market is illegal but it feels real. We believe attitudes are slowly shifting and want to be a catalyst to speed things up. We are hopeful for a positive future where older employees are considered an asset to be appreciated and actively recruited.
Fearlessness. We are not afraid to speak out about what needs to change in the job market so that people in mid life are no longer ignored. We don’t shy away from the facts however uncomfortable the conversation.
Partnership. We work in genuine collaboration with all our partners – intern candidates, charity hosts and supporters. We actively listen, we clearly communicate, and we behave with empathy and respect.
